The Actionstep API makes it simple to add additional capability to your favourite Legal Practice Management Solution. Whatever your requirement we offer a comprehensive set of building blocks and tools enabling you to develop feature rich functionality.

The Actionstep API is a REST based API. It has predictable resource-oriented URLs, accepts form-encoded request bodies, returns JSON-encoded responses, and uses standard HTTP response codes, authentication, and verbs.

You can research and explore the API in the safety of our sandbox environment which does not affect your live data. Your API Credentials used to authenticate each request determine whether the request is in live mode or in test mode, meaning the transistion to production from the sandbox is quick and simple.

Building Integrations to Actionstep

If you are a company seeking to build an integration to Actionstep please complete our Integrator Application form prior to commencing your project.

If you are a company who has already built an integration or have received approval for an integration to Actionstep (whether this is a private or commercial application) and you believe this integration could be further improved with new or enhanced API endpoints then please complete our API Endpoint Request Form.
